Le mas de la fontaine, B&B in Le Pegue, Drôme provençale

Our guest house in the Provence is ideally located in a quiet and preserved location, in the middle of lavenders fields and vineyards, near Grignan, Nyons and the historic village of 'Le Pègue'. It offers a beautiful authentic architecture, a courtyard with a fountain and an officially registered Roman stele, and a terrace with a view on the mountains and the picturesque village of 'le Pègue'.You can enjoy several relaxation areas in the flowered garden, in the shade of the old willow or on loungers for sunbathing. A table tennis, a set of ""boules de pétanque"" (the French equivalent of bocce) and a heated swimming pool are available to all the residents.In season, the organic vegetable garden and fruit trees provide many of the vegetables and fruits used for the guest tables (temporarely not available). The cooking is mainly based on local products and, if possible, organic.We offer two lovely guest rooms, decorated with taste and attention for details: Althea and Mercure, and a ""gîte"": Salvia.A gourmet breakfast, rich and varied, is included in the room prices. For the ""gîte"" formula, breakfast is not included but available on request if required in advance.The guest table (seasonal entree, main course, cheese or dessert, coffee, drinks and sweets) should be booked in advance.We offer two guest rooms and a studio:

• ALTHEA'Althea' bright and spacious, welcomes you with its authentic and comfortable furniture and soft tones. There is an excellent double bed of 160 cm.A complementary baby-cot is available, on request.The room also offers a spacious closet, a writing table, television including international channels and complimentary WI-FI.The room has a direct access from the alleyway courtyard (private entrance).View from the room on the surrounding mountains and lavender fields, with the village of 'le Pègue' further into the valley.The private bathroom offers a large walk-in shower and a toilet. Towels, a hairdryer and a variety of complimentary bathroom amenities are available for your convenience.
• MERCURE'Mercure' is a warm and cozy room with its massive beams and antique furniture. This room also overlooks the mountain, lavender fields and the village of 'le Pègue'. Access to the room is by way of the old stone staircase, from the guest-living room.Peaceful, comfortable and spacious, it offers an excellent double bed (160 cm). A complementary baby-cot is available, on request. The room also comes with a writing table and a large fitted wardrobe for storage.The private open bathroom includes a bath with tub/shower, a sink and a separate toilet. Towels, a hairdryer and a variety of complimentary bathroom amenities are available for your convenience. Free WI-FI
• INDEPENDENT GUEST ROOM 'SALVIA'The studio Salvia is arranged so that it can comfortably accommodate 2 to 3 people (max 5). It offers a bedroom – with an adjacent bathroom – that's furnished with a large 'king size' bed (180*200), a single person trundle bed (90*200) and a wardrobe. The living area is furnished with a sofa convertible in 2 individual comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining-corner, storage space and a television. Access to the guest room is independent from the house, trough the balcony. You can use the courtyard available to all guests or the balcony during good weather periods to enjoy a meal outside.On demand, a baby-bed can be made available.In the kitchen, equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, combined microwave/traditional oven and a halogen cooking plate, you'll find basic alimentary products like coffee, tea, sugar, …Bath towels, sheets for the bed and toiletries are included in the price. Cost of cleaning are a supplement.Television with international channels and free WI-FI are available. A washing machine and a freezer are also at your disposal.We will be happy to provide you with all necessary information about our lovely region and interesting places to visit.
